Wikipedia is not an advertising tool —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.251.40.139 (talk) 07:30, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not an advertising tool.

Is Wikipedia is some kind of Yahoo restaurant guide. This entry should be remove due to the fact its not notable, and contributes to the sum of all human knowlege. This entry appears to be pet project of the owner of this Warnenville restaurant and as such is in violation of a number of Wikipedia policy concern such type of free internet advertising. See WP:NOT 68.251.40.139 (talk) 07:41, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You can propose deletion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. William Avery (talk) 07:45, 11 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia is not an advertising tool part II

It would be nice if some one would make an augment rather then just use the principal of MIGHT makes RIGHT and my friends are more powerful then your friends.

Put up your proof why it's OK for Two Brothers in so special when with other "just as special" bars in the area? Also, Labeling legitimate concerns and edits as "vandalism" is not productive in this discussion and only inflames. See Wikpolicy WP:NOTDIRECTORY WP:NOTADVERTISING 68.251.40.139 (talk) 02:14, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I have to agree. This is one of the biggest Who Cares? articles on Wiki. It is clearly an advertisement, doing very little other than listing the company's products for sale. It does not meet Wiki standards for notability. I nominate for deletion. Contributions/207.109.179.46 (talk) 19:12, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I agree, the blocking of this article is abuse of power. This article does not meet the Wiki standards of notability.Greenbreww (talk) 06:51, 16 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

On the article it's appears 3 others which consider this article owned, in violation of [WP:OWN]] the article and may even have economic interest in it. The article is in violation of numerous Wikipedia policy WP:OWN WP:NOT WP:NOTADVERTISING My contention is this place is not that special, there are hundreds of local micro brewerys in the Chicago area, and in fact, It's not unusual to get good press if you advertise heavily in the food section of the Trib and the Daily Harald. This article is a shameful example of wiki for economic gain and misuse of blocking in order to win the argument.Greenbreww (talk) 18:49, 15 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

You are welcome to submit this article for deletion here: Wikipedia:Articles for deletion. Blanking the article is unacceptable, however, and is considered vandalism, so please refrain from doing this again. Gamaliel (talk) 15:17, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I would like to submit article for deletions but the form is to complicated to manage. Regarding the economic benefits to the wiki article, that is self evident. Now logic dictates that if the article has economic benefit, then those advocating may have economic interest it the article. That cold hard logic and not having any thing to do with respect for the other editors. I would like you to show me how to add article to the deletion list. Greenbreww (talk) 06:39, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
The same "cold hard logic" could lead a different editor to conclude that your interest in deleting the article is economic as well and that you work for a competitor of Two Brothers Brewing. I'm sure you would not like that, and I again ask that you refrain from making accusations that you would not enjoy being leveled at yourself. Attacking other editors is not conducive to collaborative editing. Gamaliel (talk) 15:43, 22 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I also ask that you treat other editors with the respect that you would expect from them. Please refrain from accusations of censorship, economic gain, etc., etc. Thank you. Gamaliel (talk) 15:18, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

brewpub or micro

I wouldn't call Two Brothers a brewpub. They had a microbrewery business for years before they built a bar (which is attached to the brewery) a few years ago. — goethean 13:41, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

So, that makes TB, a mini-Old Style brewery. The difference is [1] Pabst/Miller brewing company is noteworthy due to size and time in business (1844) There is nothing special or noteworthy of TB, considering the hundreds of "micro Brewery s in the country [2]. 68.251.40.139 (talk) 14:23, 14 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nominated article for deletion

Time to get this blatant advertising removed. However, I'm not sure I followed all the steps properly, so someone may want to go and double check. Lighthope (talk) 21:55, 22 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
