Additional Information Needed
This article was substantially rewritten in July 2009 to comply with Wikipedia standards, including achieving neutral point of view and the proper sourcing of all factual material. However, in sourcing the facts, we could not substantiate much of the factual assertions made in the section "State & Federal Extension Service." Rather than delete this material, which appears to be a key part of Dr. York's personal history, we hope that an Auburn graduate, or someone more familiar with the history of the Alabama Extension Service than us, can properly source this material.
