Ignore the Ignorant is the fourth studio album of the British band The Cribs. The album is due to be released on September 7, 2009 following the release of the single Cheat On Me.

The album was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Nick Launay. It will be the first album by The Cribs to feature Johnny Marr of The Smiths playing guitar with the rest of the band.[1]

Released Tracks

The track, "Cheat On Me" is to be the first released single. "We Were Aborted" was debuted on Steve Lamacq's Radio 1 show and was available for free download from The Cribs' website for only 24 hours, the day after it was debuted.
