Stephanie Judith Tanner (born January 14, 1982) is a fictional character from the sitcom Full House, portrayed by Jodie Sweetin. Stephanie is the daughter of Pamela and Danny Tanner, and is D.J.'s younger sister and Michelle's older sister. Jodie Sweetin played Stephanie from age 5 to age 13.
Stephanie is known best for her perky personality and humorous catchprhase, "How rude!" Stephanie is often defiant of her sister D.J. in the earlier seasons, but they eventually become much closer and bicker less as the series prgresses. Like D.J., Stephanie is a member of the "Honey Bees" (an organization similar to Girl Scouts) in the first few seasons. Stephanie, like her younger sister Michelle, is very ticklish.
Although often noble and trustworthy, Stephanie has her weaknesses. This includes being able to be swayed by her peers into dangerous situations.
