The Marlin Model 55 Goose Gun is a large, bolt-action, 12-gauge shotgun. It features a full-choke and a thumb safety. As the name implies, it was designed for the hunting of geese and other game birds.

A slightly shorter variant called the Model 50 was produced. It different in that it featured a modified-choke, a 28 inch barrel (48¾" overall) and weighs 7½ pounds.
