Template:IACGMOOH Contestants Iss Jungle Se Mujhe Bachao is the Indian version of the popular British reality game show I'm a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here!. The show premiered on July 13, 2009 at 10 PM on Sony Entertainment Television (India), replacing another reality talent show Entertainment Ke Liye Kuch Bhi Karega whose first season ended the previous week.

Concept

The show's concept is inspired from I'm a Celebrity…Get Me out of Here!. Ten Indian celebrities have been chosen to participate in the first season. They have been flown to Malaysia, where they will have to stay in the jungle in an outdoor camp with little or no luxury amenities. Every contestant is allowed to carry any two luxury items of their choice, which they must specify before the contest begins.

Every contestant gets a handful of rice and some soyabean for food every three days, which is clearly not enough for survival. Therefore, they must participate in various physically challenging contests and win "food credits" for themselves and their team members. Each day, the team must nominate one participant to play in the day's contest and be the so-called bread-winner for that day.

The audience can vote for their favorite participants by SMS a unique code to a special mobile number. At the end of every week, the two contestants with the least number of votes face off in an elimination task called the "Maha Jungle Challenge". The winner of this challenge gets to stay back while the loser is eliminated from the game.

In only the second week of the show, the contestants nearly walked off the show after being upset at not getting proper food to eat, and also fed up of not having enough to do during their time in the jungle camp. The trigger for the confrontation was contestant Akashh Deep Saigal being given a tough task that resulted in visible swelling due to insect bites on his throat.[1] Finally, the issue was settled after the show's producers struck a compromise with the contestants.At starting of the third week Shweta Tiwari withdrew herself from the show because she could not cope herself from the jungle conditions and from some personal causes. [2]| After the withdrawal of shweta Tiwari a new celebrity Negar khan entered the show earlier Negar was not in the show due to her visa problem . [3] She performed a number of bold scenes in the show including a shot with a two piece bikini.

More Controversy is in the AIR.. smell it... with only one eye candy in the camp people ( read AAkash/ Chetan / aman ) are gunning to woo her for a good time. Remeber when Aakashh wne t and told Marc about the good time pass he was trying to have with ST ( no offence meant).

This show is good in sense they ( celebs ) are so vulnerable that they are stealing sweet potatos which were there for the tasks....
