I have restructured the content of this article. Gemma is clearly someone who is on the rise in terms of fame and it would help if this article was structured to enable easier growth and encourage the addition of more info. Photos would help too. --SandyDancer 12:24, 27 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I've added the template {{reqphotoin|England}} to list the article as requiring a photograph. Robwingfield (talk) 13:06, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Request completed. thanks/Fenton, Matthew Lexic Dark 52278 Alpha 771 13:31, 13 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I have recently added a photo of Gemma that I took.I followed the How to upload information and uploaded it last night(1/1/08)to Wikipedia Commons and to the article but it hasn't appeared yet in the article.I'm a bit of a novice at this.Should it have appeared imediately or does it take time ?--User:I_wikist 2 January 2008 UK —Preceding comment was added at 07:57, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

You entered the wrong filename. No worries though, I've sorted it out. Cheers Paul20070 (talk) 11:57, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for that PaulI wikist (talk) 08:14, 4 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Personal Life

Somebody desperately needs to clean up this article. The Personal Life section seems extremely libellous and "The Sun" is hardly an authoritative reference. Atkinson has denied being connected to Ronaldo on numerous occasions including the Chris Moyles Radio Show. Personally I would vote for this whole section being deleted. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by AulaTPN (talkcontribs) 11:42, 16 January 2007 (UTC).[reply]

"She used to date footballer Marcus Bent of Charlton." Perhaps if this section does stay, Charlton be changed to Charlton Athletic? --NeF 09:33, 31 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also what the heck is a Wigan striker? Nobody would know that unless they were from some specific area, I guess. I thought maybe a Wigan was a form of warlock or a witch or something, then I thought maybe a Wigan striker was someone who beats Wigans, whatever Wigans are. Then I thought perhaps a Wigan striker is someone who is on strike from the Wigan company, whatever the hell that is. The point is, nobody knows what the fuck a Wigan striker even is.

A striker is a footballing term used to describe a member of the team in the row immediately before the opposing team's goal. Therefore, a Wigan striker is someone who plays in this position for Wigan Athletic F.C. I guess the term could be confusing to anyone outside the UK, so should be rephrased. Paul20070 (talk) 12:28, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Similarly, a winger refers to a position on the far left or right of the pitch (the wings). I've now introduced a couple of links to this section which should hopefully clear up any confusion over the matter. Cheers Paul20070 (talk) 12:34, 9 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

UK dess size

"She is also a UK dress size 4, which means her waist is in the region of 22 inches - On this year's I'm a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here! she confirmed she was actually a UK size 10."

Surely this sentence contradicts inself, is she a size 4 or a size 10? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 80.195.94.76 (talk) 23:23, 24 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Gemma is a UK size 10I wikist (talk) 08:10, 4 January 2008 (UTC)][reply]

Same name

I got an email today containing a ppt in which it was stated that she is the daughter of Rowan Atkinson. This can't be true. Can it? 77.49.247.116 (talk) 19:49, 22 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

No it can't. Wit (talk) 07:03, 23 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I got the same e-mail, thinking it suspect. Any clear varification? --Bentonia School (talk) 15:39, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
LOL you got that email from a trusted source?Wit (talk) 17:41, 23 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
The Rowan Atkinson thing seems to crop up now and again. As someone added it to the article again yesterday I've now inserted a hidden note which basically says she is not his daughter and any edits adding the information will be reverted. Thanks TheRetroGuy (talk) 10:42, 26 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Beautiful

I think that Gemma Atkinson is one of the best looking women ever, so will someone for the love of God (Maynard James Keenan) put up some decent pictures of her!!! It's what she's known for (apart from Hollyoaks), so therefore, put up some pics of her doin' her job. It's only common courtesy..... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 78.152.249.123 (talk) 00:55, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've asked her to, but she seems hesitant. The pic that's up now is already quite nice though. ;-) Wit (talk) 21:21, 7 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]
And realistic. The quality's not so good though. Usually, models don't have those rights to give. Informal permission is one thing, freely licensing to the whole world is another. Photographers & media companies don't normally give their copyright to the subject. So you're probably asking the wrong person unless she takes photos of herself. 71.155.241.19 (talk) 02:44, 5 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Galleries?

I think a gallery of Gemma Atkinson would help. Anybody agree? Seriously, she's gorgeous. Tool-apc (talk) 00:28, 14 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Implants

The article says that the implants gave her back the former shape she had before dieting. Surely noone's natural breasts look like two footballs. Maybe it should read "size" instead of "shape" ? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 219.134.223.146 (talk) 17:37, 14 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
