MGM Worldwide Television is the Global operating unit of MGM Television formed in 1996, that's responsible for the production/distribution of MGM's vast television library around the world.

From 2005-present, MGM's global television operations were co-distributed by Paramount Television (due to MGM's purchase by a consortium led by CBS Paramount's parent company Viacom). However, MGM reestablished their distribution arm and shifted as CBS Paramount Television (now CBS Television Studios) on January 17, 2006.

MGM Worldwide TV also distributes some of their classic library on cable stations such as The Hollywood Squares. In 1999, the name became MGM International Television Distribution. For a number of years, MGMITD has been the global distributor for the series by NBC Studios (now Universal Media Studios, but only those copyrighted by NBC) and also for the Showtime series The L Word.
