The Observer is a national newspaper in Uganda that comes out twice a week (Monday and Thursday). The paper was first published on 25 March 2004 and it was then refered to as The Weekly Observer. But starting March 2009, it became bi-weekly.It has since established itself as a reputable and formidable newspaper breaking many stories. It prides itself in indepth coverage and analysis of major news events as well as accuracy and credibilty. Its managing editor is James Tumusiime, a youthful but brilliant man who has steered the newspaper to greater heights.
