Microsoft Sam is the default text-to-speech voice in Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP. It is used by the screen reader program built into the operating system.

Microsoft Sam has a strong following for TTS of choice in the Unreal Tournament Community. Made popular by famous professional UT player Element of the LCD clan.
