Linda Douglass

Linda Douglass, a former journalist with ABC News and CBS News, was Barack Obama's senior strategist and spokeswoman during his presidential campaign. She joined his campaign on May 21, 2008.[1] Following Obama's victory in the November 2008 presidential elections, Douglass was appointed to be the spokesperson of the presidential inauguration committee.[2].
She joined the Obama administration as the Director of Communications for the Office of Health Reform. [3]
Douglass began her journalism career in 1973 with KCBS-TV, the Los Angeles affiliate of CBS.
Education
Douglass holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from the University of Southern California.
Family
Douglass is married to John Phillips. The couple have one daughter, Katie.
