Delaware Model United Nations DELMUN web site (DELMUN) was the brainchild of Fr. John Hurley OSFS and is usually held in late November/early December.

The meet was usually rotated among the various Delaware schools that had Model United Nations programs but since 2000 it has been perpetually held at Salesianum School in Wilmington Delaware with little talk of it ever reverting back to the rotating schedule. At this year's event (held December 10, 2005), however, Fr. Hurley recommended to teachers of other schools that they hold DelMUN 2006 at their own schools. He noted that Salesianum students rarely get to participate because they are working behind the scenes and that a change of venue may benefit everyone.

The meet is held in high esteem by most and usually nets around 800 participants from 5 states and the District of Columbia with steadily growing annual attendance.

Recent myth also holds that the Secretary General for each meet is involved in a car crash on the way to it.
