The State Government of Karnataka (through KSIIDC, or Karnataka State Industrial Investment & Development Corporation) is initiating the concessioning process for a High Speed Rail Link (HSRL) to Bangalore International Airport, India, on BOT basis. Expressions of Interest (EOI) have been invited from eligible national & international entities for Design, Build, Finance, Operate, Maintain and Transfer of the HSRL Project. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation Limited (DMRC) has been retained as the consultant /project advisor by the Government of Karnataka in the concessioning process.

The HSRL will have a length of about 34 km from Bangalore city centre to International Airport passing through Cubbon Road (City Center check-in station), Hebbal (Check-in station), Yelahanka (pick-up station) and Bangalore International Airport Terminal Station.
