Romani (adventurer)

Robert de Baldoque, also Romani (d.c. 1683) was a French adventurer involved in the Affair of the Poisons. He was accuesed of having conspired with Catherine Monvoisin to assassinate Angélique de Fontanges with poisoned gloves. He was sentenced to life imprisonment and sequestration in 1682.
