Le Voyou (also known as "The Crook") is a French movie about a criminal, known as "Simon the Swiss", and his largest heist. The film makes extensive use of flashbacks, musical montages, rapid film editing, misaligned sound mixing, and film-within-a-film techniques to heighten the stylized mood and to convey the elusive nature of the title character.
