Spondonicles (or Spondonicals), also known as billy tongs or billy grips, are a common camping accessory used when cooking over a campfire to lift a billy, or pot without a handle, out of the fire.

The term spondonicles is an Australian colloquialism and when spoken spondonicles refers to only one set of billy tongs, while spondonoclii is the correct plural form.

It is widely understood that the term is derived from a Three Stooges comedy sketch where the term is used to refer to a mock surgical instrument.
