Argentina Silus (synonymous with Salmo Silus) is also known as Atlantic Argentine, Great Silver Smelt, Greater Argentine, Herring Smelt or simply Smelt. It is a northern Atlantic smelt in the family Argentinidae, or herring-smelts. It is also used as seafood.[1]
