Marcus Antonius Coccius Sabellicus (1436-1506) was a scholar and historian from Venice who authored a history of the world in 1504 entitled Enneades sive Rhapsodia historiarum. He was a pupil of Pomponius Laetus, was professor of eloquence at Udino and Venice. In 1487 he was appointed as a curator of the San Marco Library.
