Tirstrup is a small town in East Jutland, Denmark with 525 inhabitants as of January 1, 2009.[1]

Tirstrup is located 44 kilometers from Aarhus and 18 kilometers from Grenaa. The city is home to Aarhus Airport. Tirstrup lies in the Syddjurs Municipality and is governed as part of Region Midtjylland.
