The Article was clearly biased. Extensive editing was required. Since most of the article was propoganda, it should be re-written in a less biased manner.

I have remove link under External links related to Omar Asghar Khan as it doesn't seem to provide what it promises. Here's what it said:

  • Omer Asghar Khan's progressive political thought & Jamiat [1]

But that's just a link to Sungi. Is the implication that Sungi is an illustration of how Mr Khan and Jamiat indulge in progressive thought? Did Omer A Khan write something about the link/clash between progressive political thought & Jamiat?iFaqeer (Talk to me!) 21:06, Apr 11, 2005 (UTC)

Activism

Is this statement really true?

IJT is partly blamed for the deterioration of Pakistan's educational institutes. IJT has been accused of promoting and being a source of Gun Culture, violence, and terrorism.

It doesn't say who was "blaming" or accusing them. I tried to reword it, but it seemed a little vague.--AI 21:55, 4 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Well, the fact that people blame them is true. Who? Well, their political opponents, for one. Some journalists I know. Members of the public—and often these are people that are not supporters of some other party. But then, you could say this is all my opinion.iFaqeer (Talk to me!) 23:10, May 4, 2005 (UTC)
The opossit of the accusation is true, not words.. but the history says that.

.....Response To Ifaqeer......

you are simply asking for a proof for any statement made against your darling Jamiat. Have you provided any proof of your claim that the opposite of accusitions is true. Give me a break. Just read a few local news paper mate. You'll find out what the truth is. You want the facts about the violance and gun culture being promoted by jamatis. Ask a majority of NON-Jamati students in the universities being ailed by jamiat. You'll find out. Just recently, a married man was beaten for holding hands with his wife. IS THAT ISLAM. No that is sheer terrorism, and senseless violence. Jamatis are always threatning he most sacred department of an educational institute i.e. the teachers for passing jamatis even if they dont take exams. Needless to say that I have studied at an institute which was being ailed by jamatis, just to kick you out of that college, authorities had to call police. Now what kind of Islam was being exercised for which they had to summon police. Mind explaining that??!!!! Will you ???!!! I presume this is not a valid forum on which i should be adding links to some video proofs to my claims(I do have all that). But u know it very well...Every thing i say is TRUE, Jamiat is nothing but a group of THUGS and illetrate people. So jamati, there is no worth in midlessly advocating jamiat for every crime that it has been committing and it is committing even now. I cant ask you to learn the facts, because you know it already, its just that you are not willing to accept that. IMMAD

Anyone who has studied in a Pakistani educational institute knows that IJT is an extremist organisation bordering on the terrorism. But as usual Jamaatis try to lie their way out of everything. Many of the Al-Qaida terrorists in Pakistan were caught from houses owned by members of Jamaat-e-Islami (IJT's parent organization). This was well publicised in national and international press at the time. This gives an idea of how these terrorists work. One thing on the face and the other in reality.

Jamaati

I am putting back some of the verbiage that was here into Jamaati.iFaqeer (Talk to me!) 23:10, May 4, 2005 (UTC)

Warning

Some people are changing the description of parties like jammat and jamiat, wish they have some thing constructive instead of distroying others image who are working day n night for the betterment of islam and the countary they live in.

They must think what have they done for thier countary instead of wasting time by writing wrong things about others.

You mean you hate it if people remind you that your Maudoodi staunchly opposed Quaid e Azam and creation of Pakistan? or that your Al Badr and Al Shams killed innocent Bengalis in 1971? Truth hurts, does not it? Also it may help if you stop opposing rights of minorities and women.

- comments to the comment-just-above ^^^^

to rise the point that they opposed Qaid e Azam and the creation of pakistan is senceless and and meaningless without any proof .. don't just quote the sayings of some "big" awami-leaders ! ___ al-shams and al-badar .. before saying a single word, just lookaround where you live, read some history books and watch some historical movies and you'll .. well, logically .. start to hate people aroud you, because somehow and with some complex relationships, they are too involved in killing innocent poeple. at the time of creation of indo-pak, hidus and sikhs killed muslims, muslims killed hidus and sikhs (for both, in retaliation or in selfdefence) .. usa bombed heroshima and nagasaki, japan and germany killed millions of people in europe and in asia .. go more deeper and you'll get informed more hoistory (apart from maududi's "bad" work and the history of al-badar and al-shams). ok .. don't do this .. just think, how dumb these bangalies are, who have let them ( JI and IJT ) in bangladesh to start their work again, even shorft after the creation of bangadesh !! how funny ? isn't it ? at the end .. give some "non-biased" and not-what-the-big-leaders-said poorfs of al-badar and al-shams for killing innocent poeples. don't be lazy .. don't just blame and flame .. don't just hate because you want to.. do some constructive work __ now come to that sick point, women and minorities .. do you have any proof ?? do you ?? i have proof of those poeple, who actually teach and propagate the philosophi of human-rights, peace, democracy and co., for being the main culprits.

- musings on the above ^

Look, this group's half-wittery is nowhere more apparent than their opposition to "secularism", as they choose to define it. Not everyone wants to be dragged kicking and screaming into heaven; an insincere belief is worse than unbelief, but their obsession with appearances suggests that they don't think so. What must that say about their motivation, I wonder...?

Condemn

Wikipedia is the largest web encyclopedia. There is only one weakness in this encyclopedia that they upload the articles without any proof or evidence. Things which are written about Islami Jamiat Talaba is completely baseless. APMSO can not provide any single name who has been killed by Islami Jamiat Talaba but there are 26 members of Islami Jamiat Talaba who were killed by APMSO. You can have a look on that, plz follow this link

          [2]

All i want to say that plz verify any information before uploading and dont allow slangs in articles. If God willing(INSHALLAH), I will send the introduction, Aims and objectives of Islami Jamiat Talaba soon.

                                        Yours Sincerely
                                        M. A. SIDDIQUI
