Controversy
Rap-Up Magazine recently reported that Mari was facing controversy and a possible reclaim when it comes to the song "Diamonds". The song was initially recorded when Christina Milian joined Myspace Records. Whilst Milian was exclusively signed to Myspace the record was hers. However her forthcoming album is yet unreleased and when Milian signed a joint deal with 'Radio-Killa Records' the terms of her original contract no longer stood. As a result "Diamonds" was played as a demo for Mari who later when on to pay for the rights to record and release the song - something which the Milian had not done. Milian has since said that she had actually written the song. [2]
