At That Point is the upcoming second studio album by American R&B singer Teairra Marí, scheduled to be released under a joint venture between Warner Bros and Fo'Reel Ent. Rap-Up Magazine reports that the album is slated for summer release in 2009, quoting July as a possible release month. A online promotional single from the album titled "Hunt 4 U", featuring R&B artist Pleasure P, was released in early January 2009, accompanied by a video.

The lead single is called "Cause A Scene" and features rapper Flo Rida. It was released from May 12, 2009 and is described as an up-tempo club/R&B offering.

Since 2009, Mari has used her official Twitter page to update fans regarding the status of her album. As of the end of May she confirmed that her album was 75% completed with several more recording sessions to complete as well as selecting the final track listing. Controversy

Rap-Up Magazine recently reported that Mari was facing controversy and a possible reclaim when it comes to the song "Diamonds". The song was initially recorded when Christina Milian joined Myspace Records. Whilst Milian was exclusively signed to Myspace the record was hers. However her forthcoming album is yet unreleased and when Milian signed a joint deal with 'Radio-Killa Records' the terms of her original contract no longer stood. As a result "Diamonds" was played as a demo for Mari who later when on to pay for the rights to record and release the song - something which the Milian had not done. Milian has since said that she had actually written the song. [2]

Singles

  • "Automatic", featuring Nicki Minaj, was verified as the second single. Mari had recently added "Automatic" to her MySpace and Radio 1's website has confirmed that "Automatic" will be going for adds on urban radio on July 26, 2009.
