Seafar is an area of the town of Cumbernauld.

Seafar is north of the A80 trunk road and is boardered by Seafar wood, planted at the time of the construction of the town. The area was the second built in the new town of Cumbernauld and its many streets are named after the local farms that use to exist within the area. It has two local primary schools, St Mary's and Ravenswood Primary.

Added to that, there is a Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses next to St Mary's Primary school and up the hill from one of Cumbernauld's five high schools, Our Lady's High school.

There are also several shops that were originally built to meet the need of the local homes but have seen a steady decline with the growth of the 2 two supermarkets within Cumbernauld town centre: a large Tesco Extra store, and an ASDA Supercentre.
