The Epstein School is a Jewish Day School located in Sandy Springs, Georgia[1] for children from 18 months through eighth grade. Founded in 1973, Epstein has been providing bilingual (English-Hebrew) academic learning environment grounded in Jewish values for 36 years. The school offers after school clubs, aftercare, summer camp, a variety of sports and performing arts programs.
National recognition
- In 2005, Epstein was identified as a U.S. Department of Education Innovator[2] and is one of only three Jewish day schools in the nation to be honored as a 2004[Blue Ribbon School] by the U.S. Department of Education.
- In 2009 The Epstein School's sustainable, educational garden and pond was awarded certified wildlife habitat status by the National Wildlife Federation
- April 2009 Epstein Student Receives National Recognition by the National Museum of Education in the Student Ideas For a Better America Competition for Snug Bug invention.
Accredidation
The Epstein School has dual SAIS-SACS accreditation from Southern_Association_of_Independent_Schools and Southern Association of Colleges and Schools(SACS). The current Head of School for the Epstein School is Mr. Stan Beiner.[3]
