Yugorsk Sovetsky (also Pionerskiy, Komsomolskiy-2, or Yugorsk-2) is an air base in Russia located 11 km southwest of Yugorsk. The 763 IAP (763rd Interceptor Aviation Regiment) was formed here in 1952. From 1970 to 1983 it flew Yak-28 aircraft and from 1983 to 1995 flew MiG-31 planes. The regiment was disbanded sometime between 1996 and 1998. A MiG-25 is on display in the town of Yugorsk.
Currently the airfield is probably used for general aviation service to Yugorsk.
