Shabnam

Shabnam was an actress active in the Pakistani film industry during the late 1960s and much of the 1970s. She is considered a romantic heroin by many South Asian movies fans.

Married to Robin Ghos a great musician , Shabnam was originally from East Pakistan, now Bangladesh. After the countries were partitioned, Shabnam settled in Lahore to persue her movie career. The well-known Indian actress Madhubala once said that she took inspiration from Shabnam. During the conservative era of 1960s and 1970s, her heavy breathing style and mannerism in furiously moving her breast up and down were considered extremely erotic. Fans in the subcontinent would often wait in long lines outside theaters to see her.
