"3" is set to be the lead single by American pop-star Britney Spears' upcoming second greatest hits album The Singles Collection . The single will be released to American radio on September 29, 2009. It was officially confirmed via Spears' official website on September 23.[1]

Background

The track was produced by Max Martin, who worked on her early hits including "Baby One More Time", "Oops!...I Did It Again", "Stronger" and more recently on "If U Seek Amy".
