Darul 'Uloom Karachi is a Islamic seminary located in Karachi, Pakistan. It continues the tradition of the Darul Uloom system initiated by Darul Uloom Deoband. It is one of the leading educational institutions in Pakistan. It was started by the late Grand Mufti of Pakistan, Muhammad Shafi in 1951. Muhammad Shafi was previously associated with Darul Uloom Deoband, but moved to Pakistan following the partition. Currently, the President of Darul 'Uloom Karachi is Grand Mufti Muhammad Rafi Usmani and the Vice President is Mufti Muhammad Taqi Usmani. Both are the children of the founder, Muhammad Shafi.
