Phineas is a friendly and creative boy, who has a wide array of musical abilities from songwriting to singing. His best friend is his step-brother Ferb. He loves his sister Candace but is frequently annoyed by her, though he tries to show he loves her. However, he usually unintentionally upsets her with his schemes. He is close with his mother and step-father. Phineas is seemingly unaware on Isabella's attraction for him, though he apparently finds her cute and considers her a good friend. He speaks a lot more than Ferb and is usually the spokesperson for the two. He is also slightly naive.

In nearly every episode, he says "Hey, where's Perry?" and later says "Oh, There you are Perry." Sometimes these lines are spoken by others, like Isabella or Baljeet. When asked if he is too young to be doing something, usually replies "Yes, yes I am." with pure honesty. He also says "Ferb, I know what we're gonna do today."

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo" it is revealed that he; like Ferb, will be a very successful individual, as the future version of his mother remarked that Phineas was in Switzerland, about to receive an award.

Frederick 'Ferb' Fletcher (voiced by Thomas Sangster) is Phineas's very intelligent but laconic stepbrother from England. Although he is very quiet, he is not shy. He usually speaks at the end of each episode, but in season two he is shown to have more emotion and lines than the previous season. Ferb can easily change his voice, usually using a deep voice while singing, but always covers his mouth with the mic. He has a great sense of mechanics and electronics and can build various construction projects such as roller coasters, a giant track, and a real remote-controlled race car to name a few, willing to make Phineas' incredible plans a reality. Like Phineas, Ferb is also talented and can play a large variety of instruments, such as the trumpet, guitar, harmonica, keyboard and Jamaican drums. He can communicate with many life-forms such as dolphins and Martians. He has a close relationship with his parents and his sister. Ferb is attracted to Vanessa Doofenshmirtz. Ferb's real name as revealed in Vanessacery Roughness is Frederick Fletcher.

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo" it is revealed that he; like Phineas, will be a very successful individual. Linda implied that Ferb will become a head of state, by mentioning that, "he was in Camp David for the week" in that episode.

Candace Flynn (voiced by Ashley Tisdale) is Phineas' older sister and Ferb's stepsister. She is 16 years old according to the official Phineas and Ferb website, and is the series' main antagonist. She generally tries to "bust" her brothers, but her mother never believes her. Candace nurtures a permanent crush on Jeremy Johnson (voiced by Mitchel Musso), who eventually becomes her boyfriend. In a sense, she is the exact opposite of her brothers, being terribly afraid of heights and easily getting sick or dizzy. Althought Candace is allergic to dairy, in the episode "Oh There You are Perry" and "Journey to the Center of Candace", she is seen eating cereal. Candace is good at singing, as seen in "Flop Starz" (even when her voice changes due to an allergic reaction to wild parsnips to that of a male jazz singer) and numerous other episodes. In "Mom's Birthday" it appears she can play a number of instruments, all of which begin with the letter "B" (bass, bongos, basoon, etc). She is also the only character along with her mom and the boys that has seen Perry as a secret agent but at the time believed to be under the effect of a wild, hallucinogenic moss. She has a very long neck, which is pointed out many times during the series, and is allergic to every dairy product (stated in "Candace Loses Her Head") except grilled cheese sandwiches (her favorite); she is also allergic to wild parsnips (stated in "Jerk De Soleil"). Candace has her own little theme song, reminiscent of that of the Wicked Witch of the West and is often seen riding a bicycle. She appears having a tendency to panic and jump to conclusions. She and her best friend Stacy Hirano (Kelly Hu) are the no. 1 fans of the fictional girl group "The Bettys" and "Bango-Ru's" which are Japanese characters. Her birthday is July 11, 1993. In "Attack of the 50 Feet Sister", it is revealed that she is 5 foot 8. She loves her brothers.

Candace's Future Children - Amanda, Fred, and Xaviar

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo" Candace grows up to accept her brother's need to have fun. She also presumably, married Jeremy and had three children named Amanda, Xavier and Fred, who mirror the current Phineas, Ferb, and Candace but an opposite mannerism. Xavier and Fred are completely content with doing nothing but sitting under the virtual tree in their backyard for the summer vacation, and Amanda constantly chides them that they never do anything interesting. Throughout the series, Candace often remarked to Phineas and Ferb that she planned to marry Jeremy and have two kids, Xaviar and Amanda, but somehow ended up with the twins, Xaviar and Fred, who "will be" the same age as Phineas and Ferb are currently, in addition to Amanda, who "will be" the same age as Candace is currently. In this episode, Amanda is voiced by Jennifer Stone, Fred is voiced by Moises Arias, and Xaviar is voiced by Noah Munck. At this point in the future, Candace is 36 years old. Using 2009 as present year, Amanda would have been born in 2014; Fred and Xaviar would have been born in 2019, and the future point would be 2029.

Perry the Platypus (voiced by Frank Welker or Maria Darling) is Phineas's and Ferb's pet platypus, who lives a double life as a secret agent under the codename of Agent P. Agent P works under Major Monogram's O.W.C.A (who uses animals as secret agents), and combats Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz. The Flynn-Fletcher family are not aware of Perry's double life, thinking of him as a mindless, domestic pet that "doesn't do much". However, most of them have seen him as a secret agent, only to think they were mistaken. In "Flop Starz", Linda saw him a an agent at a stop light, only to do a double-take and think she saw someone else. In "The Ballad of Bad Beard", Candace saw him as an agent, but thought she was hallucinating. In "Toy to the World", Phineas and Ferb see him as an agent, but mistakenly think he is an action figure that looks like him and throw him aside. Perry is shown to care quite a lot for his family, demonstrated when Phineas and Ferb stumbled upon his secret base and set off on a secret mission, and he watched out for them, or when Candace believed she had gone mad and Perry rescued her. Another notable moment is in the episode "Journey to the Center of Candace", where Dr. Doofenshmirtz reveals his evil plan as a giant vacuum that destroys anyone who can not make up their minds, at which Perry remembers Phineas stating that morning that he and Ferb couldn't make up their minds on what to build. This causes him to immediately capture Dr. Doofenshmirtz, instead of the whole routine ("I trap you, I reveal my plot, you escape, you foil my plot, then we fight, and I'm defeated"). Another example is in the episode "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted", where after he wakes up from his dream where he gets separated from his family because his cover gets blown, Phineas comforts him telling him that everything is okay and Perry goes back to sleep with a relieved smile on his face. Also, in the episode "Traffic Cam Caper" when it is implied that Perry erased Mr. Fletcher's bill. Furthermore, Perry seems to continue to care for his family, even when it puts him in humiliating situations. In the episode “Jerk De Soleil” Perry pauses in-between his mission to stop Doofenshmirtz, to help the boys with their circus show, putting on an extremely embarrassing costume made for him which including a coconut bra and funny sunglasses. At the end of that same episode, he reappears, showing that even though he hates his costume, he loves the boys enough to come back in time for the finale. Another moment where Perry shows he cares about the family is in the episode "Oh There You Are, Perry" after Dr. Doofenshmirtz was lowered to a low threat and Perry gets a new nemesis, as he is about to jet-pack off he has a teary eyed moment. While Perry hates his nemesis Dr. Doofenshmirtz he loves to hate him as seen in the episode "It's About Time" where Perry is replaced by Dr. Doofenshmirtz new nemesis Peter the Panda, causing him to retire from spying. After a heartfelt apology from Doofenshmirtz, Perry tearfully agrees to be his nemesis again but then finds out it was all a secret plot and defeats Doofenshmirtz as usual. In the "Chronicles of Meap" Dr. Doofenshmirtz calls Perry his best friend, but then Perry immediately continues defeating him.

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo", two possible futures for Perry were shown. In the unaltered future, he was shown to still be an antagonist to Dr. Doofenshmirtz despite his advanced age and deteriorating health, being forced to use a walker and throw a set of false teeth at Doofenshmirtz to attack him after he cheated in a game of checkers. In the altered timeline, Perry ended up in a body cast for eighteen months as a result of failing to latch onto a helicopter and escape a two-ton ball of tinfoil created by Doofenshmirtz as the result of future Candace's tampering. As a result of his being out of action, the O.W.C.A. lost the upper hand in battling Doofenshmirtz and was forced to swear loyalty to him when took over the world. Perry was briefly shown being ordered by an aged Major Monogram to head to the source of a temporal anomaly-Candace's time travel in effect-and head back in time to stop Doofenshmirtz, only for the order to be countermanded by Doofenshmirtz himself.

Curse You, Perry the Platypus!

Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz (voiced by Dan Povenmire) is a mad scientist who plays as the main antagonist for Perry the Platypus. He is the head of his own single-person company, Doofenshmirtz Evil Incorporated. Dr. Doofenshmirtz's main goal is to wreak havoc on the "Tri-State Area" using various gadgets and inventions, however most of his plans have been thwarted by Perry the Platypus. The inventions ultimately backfire on Phineas and Ferb's work, destroying or otherwise affecting their project, and leaving Candace without any evidence to "bust" them. Almost all of Dr. Doofenshmirtz's inventions have the suffix "-inator" in their names, and his first invention for a science fair was simply titled "The Inator." Dr. Doofenshmirtz is not really a doctor, as his daughter pointed out that his so-called Doctorate Degree has a $15 price tag on it. Doofenshmirtz lived an unhappy and unprovided childhood in a town called Gimmelstoomp in the fictional German country of Druselstein, where his family were poor farmers and he was forced to be a lawn gnome. His father won a puppy named "Only Son", in a game of "Poke the Stoomple with a Stick", which he favored over his actual sons (Heinz is one of 2 children), neither one of his parents ever showed up to any of his birthday parties (forcing him to throw his own parties), his only friends were his neighbor Kenny, the moon, and a balloon that he drew a face onto. His ex-wife, Charlene, pays him alimony, which helps to pay for his evil schemes. He has a teenage daughter, about 16, named Vanessa who is less-than-thrilled with him and his schemes. She tries to "bust" her father, like Candace tries to bust her brothers. Roger, His younger brother—the favorite of their mother—is a respected politician in Danville and holds the mayoral post. Even though Doofenshmirtz and Perry are enemies, they have sometimes acted as friends, such as not minding him visiting at his new house (which was two houses down from Perry's house), and asking Perry to act like a "mindless pet" during a date.

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo", two future versions of Doofenshmirtz were seen. In the unaltered future he remains Perry's antagonist, though their aged condition reduces them to playing checkers with Doofenshmirtz cheating while he thinks Perry is sleeping, though Perry caught him. In the future altered by the future Candace's actions, Doofenshmirtz becomes emperor of a dystopia created by the suppression of creativity in children, forcing everyone to be renamed Joe so that he doesn't have to bother with remembering names. He also commands the loyalty of the O.W.C.A., and ordered Perry not to follow Major Monogram's orders to travel back in time to change history.

Major Monogram (voiced by Jeff "Swampy" Marsh) is Perry the Platypus's boss and gives him missions to stop Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz's endless attempts at instating a "reign of terror" upon the Tri-State Area. Major Monogram usually appears on a giant screen giving Perry instructions for his next mission, but it is revealed that he never wanted to be a major. He usually isn't wearing pants when he gives Perry his missions, but hides it by using close-ups. In "Unfair Science Fair", he was seen without his wig on. Phineas, Ferb, Dr. Doofenshmirtz, Lawrence Fletcher and Candace Flynn are the only people who have accidentally seen Major Monogram. It was also revealed that Doofenshmirtz knows Monogram's phone number.

In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo", an aged Major Monogram with a beard was seen in the dystopic future, having sworn loyalty to Dr. Doofenshmirtz despite still attempting to thwart his evil schemes. He ordered Perry to travel back in time to change history, but the command was countermanded by Doofenshmirtz.

Isabella Garcia-Shapiro (Alyson Stoner) is 10 years old like Phineas and the leader of the Fireside Girls. Her introduction line is "What'cha doin'?". She can change her voice as Ferb can, usually higher, sometimes lower, and often assists the boys in their plans, enlisting the whole troop of girls in the process (often to obtain new badges or other credits related to the Fireside Girls). In the episode "One Good Scare Ought to Do It!" it is revealed that her biggest fear is losing Phineas. She has the biggest crush on him, which can be seen from the very first episode, and makes it quite clear with awkward statements such as "You had me at 'our grandchildren'" in "Comet Kermilian" when invited to view a passing comet. In the episode "That Sinking Feeling" she thinks that Phineas is trying to invite her on a romantic dinner on a ship that he and Ferb made, although it was actually for Baljeet and his friend Mishti. She is known to get mad or upset whenever Phineas doesn't notice her. She sings well, as demonstrated in the episodes "Flop Starz". She can do a very loud finger whistle, as seen in "S'winter." Her mother, Vivian Garcia-Shapiro (Eileen Galindo in Season 1-2 & Maria Canals-Barrera in Season 3-) is a fast-talking Mexican woman, and her stepfather, Mr. Shapiro (Richard O'Brien) is a sinister-looking slow-talking British man with a Jewish descent. Isabella doesn't usually dress like the other Fireside Girls wearing a pink shirt and skirt, though she has been seen wearing their uniform. When standing next to the other Fireside Girls with her sash, Isabella's clothes do resemble the Fireside Girl uniform just pink. This difference is used to make her stand out as the troop leader. At the end of "Quantum Boogaloo", Candace's daughter tells us that Isabella is her aunt. When Isabella hears this she tells Candace that it means she marries Phineas but Candace remarks, "or Ferb" which doesn't sit too well with her. (However she uses the machine to get the tool the boys need and returns to the time it started thus in the timeline Phineas and Ferb never went into the future.)

(Caroline Rhea) is the mother of Phineas and Candace, stepmother to Ferb. She is married to Lawrence Fletcher. It is not known whether or not she uses his last name as most other characters call her "Ms. Flynn" (Phineas and Candace's last name), except for one time when she was referred to as "Mrs. Fletcher" by Isabella in "Candace Loses Her Head". She answers to both names. Linda is portrayed as a regular American mother, although she plays in a free-form jazz band with Isabella and Jeremy's mothers, and was once a one-hit wonder pop star under the name 'Lindanna' as seen in "Flop Starz". She also runs her own antique store. She is generally busy or trying to relax, when her daughter tries to get her to see that the boys are up to some crazy plan. She often brushes Candace's accusations aside and now believes that Candace simply feels the need to go after her brothers. In "Phineas and Ferb Get Busted", it is revealed that she thinks Candace is delusional and secretly mocks her behind her back and she also writes down what Candace says to make a "comedy journal" although this was simply a dream by Perry. When the boys reveal their schemes and accomplishments, she thinks they have an "overactive", yet "adorable", imagination. Interestingly near the end of season 1 and in season 2 she occasionally does see Phineas and Ferb's projects although still thinks of them as adorable. Such as in "The Lake Nose Monster" where she saw the boat they made although it was only a small boat and underneath was a submarine-like base but in "Interview with a Platypus" she did see their animal translator and see it work although it did not translate Perry's noise so she believed it to just be a machine that repeats a sound. She also sees the fort the boys made in "Thaddeus and Thor" though she saw just the top and not the rest of the fort which was huge.

Linda in the Future

In Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo, two alternate versions of Linda are seen. Future Linda, in the first future shown, is still running her antique store and is about to go on a comeback tour, one of many she's had over the years (she mentioned that after two more she gets a free pie). She's now a grandmother to Future Candace's three children (it's currently unknown if Phineas and Ferb had any children at that point although one of them is married to Isabella, which one is currently unknown). However, due to Future Candace's tampering with the timestream to finally bust her brothers after all those failed attempts, a new timeline was created after Linda saw the roller coaster Phineas and Ferb created in the first episode. She quickly panicked and called almost every law enforcement agency on the planet to stop her sons from hurting themselves. However, the actions of both Future Candace mixed with Linda's extreme fear for her sons safety led to a sweeping movement of wild paranoia over the safety of children everywhere. The end result was the creation of a dystopian future ruled by Doofenshmirtz, where creativity and imagination are suppressed and children are "child proofed" until adulthood. When this timeline was restored with the first future seen, Future Linda met the younger versions of Candace, Phinease, and Ferb, and realized that Candace had been telling the truth all those times she tried to bust her brothers. Future Linda apologized to Candace for not believing her all those times, but this was a hollow victory for Candace as Future Linda could not actually punish Phineas and Ferb because they were no longer "under her jurisdiction".

(Richard O'Brien) is the father of Ferb, stepfather of Phineas and Candace. He has the last name Fletcher, though he was once called "Mr. Flynn" by Isabella. Lawrence is an archaeologist from England. He keeps his treasured memories in a toolbox. It has been shown how he agrees to follow Phineas's instructions and even forces Candace to cooperate, as if he considers Phineas's and Ferb's skills normal. Additionally, he is shown to not understand when the brothers are about to start a new scheme, often being distracted by something else. However, in the episode "It's a Mud Mud Mud World", he is a part of of Phineas and Ferb's scheme, but it is unlikely if he knows anything about other events Phineas and Ferb created, as demonstrated by the line "Say what you will about Candace, there's nothing primitive about her imagination" in the episide "Boyfriend from 27,000 BC". This is further evidenced when he seems to agree with Linda when she says Candace's hat is on too tight in "The Flying Fishmonger" after being told of the boys digging a gorge in the backyard. Lawrence and Linda are often going to rather lengthy Conventions and Symposiums. Even while visiting his parents in England in A Hard Days Knight, they spend nearly the entire episode in an Antiques Symposium or when Linda's Parents came to Danville to visit in Rollerama Drama, they went to another convention for the entire day. Currently nothing is known of the status or whereabouts of Lawrence in the future as he neither appeared nor was mentioned.

(Mitchel Musso) is Candace's crush and later boyfriend. Jeremy is 16 years old due to the fact that he can drive a car with no parent supervision. Jeremy works at "Mr. Slushy Burger", sometimes called "Mr. Slushy Dawg" (a parody of Burger King) at the mall and once at the Museum of Natural Science, where he joked that he was about to become part of the museum's Fossil Exhibit. When Candace finds out that Jeremy is on a commercial, she feels she needs to be on television too. Candace does many embarrassing things on the show to feel that she is on the same level as Jeremy, only to find out he was only the foot model for the commercial. Jeremy is often known for hosting foreign exchange students such as in the episodes "Swinter" and his cousin in "De plane,de plane". He also knows about the schemes of Phineas and Ferb, sometimes taking part in them, such as when he took Candace to their Chez Platypus restauraunt, and taking her to their car wash. In "Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo", Candace presumably has married Jeremy and had three kids; Amanda, Fred, and Xaviar. Whether Jeremy was the actual husband to Candace and father to the trio is currently not proven, but very likely due to Candace mentioning many times throughout the series that she intended to marry Jeremy and have two kids, Xaviar and Amanda, which are the names of two of the three future kids. In the episode "Chez Platypus" Jeremy asks Candace out on an actual date. In the episode " At the Car Wash" Jeremy asks Candace to go to the car wash with him. the car wash being designed by Phineas and Ferb is massive and very complex. This scares Candace and Jeremy says "Don't worry, I'll protect you." they also both put their arms around each other at this point. This same reaction is seen when Candace joins Jeremy toward the top of the Ferris Wheel in "Bowl-R-Rama Drama".

(Bobby Gaylor) has a noticeable Mid-Atlantic accent. His age should be around 10, even though he is larger in size than the rest of his friends. And it was hinted that he's missing a chromasome. It is frequently mentioned that everybody is afraid of him, but he really does not hurt anyone "on-screen". He is present in the series more often as a good guy than as a bully, and for this reason receives frequent invitations from Phineas to join them in the fun. Buford owns a fish named Biff, named after his mother. Buford has a soft spot for goldfish, says Phineas in "Let's Take a Quiz". Buford is the one who almost always refers to Phineas as "Dinner Bell" or "Pointy", and in "Let's Take a Quiz" he called him "Dilweed". He also refers to Baljeet as "Shrimpy" and "Jeet". However he confessed in "One Good Scare Ought to Do It" that he finds Suzy Johnson (Jeremy's sister) frightening. Although he often bullies Baljeet they often end up teaming up.

(Maulik Pancholy) is Phineas and Ferb's friend who helps them with their Big Ideas. Baljeet is great at math, passive, and very polite. He enjoys trivia, learning, and has a compelling need to get good grades. During the group's activities, he is often paired with Buford. While Buford often bullies him by taking his underpants, there is also a protective nature between the two of them - they seem to have formed a Like hate relationship. He also learns things he never knew what it was or how to do. Baljeet is an intelligent boy, and he tries hard to make things better, such as trying to make a new Perry when the platypus gets lost on his watch in "Swiss Family Phineas". Baljeet's name indicates that he is most likely from India's Punjab region. He has immigrated to America (revealed in "Get That Bigfoot Outa My Face!"), although clues like him studying during summer vacation suggest he is either an immigrant or a foreign exchange student. Other clues are that in the song "Destroyed Dreams" from the episode "Unfair Science Fair", he states that his family stretches from the Himalayas to Kashmir (which are Indian locations). Baljeet believes that a failed math test is the "scariest thing known to man." ("One Good Scare Ought to Do It!")

Jeff Marsh has confirmed that their names are Gretchen (voiced by Ariel Winter, she is identified as the one who has short brown hair and wears glasses and she has a crush on Ferb), Holly (the African-American girl; voiced by Cymphonique Miller), Katie (the light-skinned blond girl; voiced by Isabella Acres), Milly (the girl with freckles and curly brown hair; voiced by Isabella Murad), Adyson (the girl who has straight brown hair and wears a sleeveless uniform and a red headband; voiced by Madison Pettis), and Ginger (the dark-haired Asian girl; voiced by Tiffany Espensen). Currently, only Gretchen has actually been addressed by name on the show. Like Ferb, The Fireside Girls also all have a talent for construction. Their involved projects range from building the stage for a Love Handel Concert in Dude, We're Gettin' the Band Back Together to constructing the time machine to rescue Phineas, Ferb, and Candace from the distant past in It's About Time which was later used by Phineas, Ferb, and Isabella to travel to the future in Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo.

TitleStudent
NationalityJapanese American
Best FriendsCandace Flynn, Jenny Brown
CrushColtrane

(Kelly Hu) is Candace's very enthusiastic best friend and is 16 years old. She mostly appears in person in the series but some times she's talking on the phone with Candace. She is one of the few persons who knows the truth about the boys, although she is never concerned about it. She usually convinces Candace to participate and enjoy the moment instead of trying to bust her brothers; in fact, in "Put That Putter Away" she was dispatched by a bed-ridden Candace to bust Phineas and Ferb, but wound up having so much fun with them that she forgot her mission and joined the boys. She also accompanied Candace on the family holiday to Britain in "Elementary, My Dear Stacy". While Candace was so set on finding out what Phineas and Ferb were up to and busting them, Stacy was intent on shopping to the point that Candace dragged her out of a store twice. She also might be a love interest for Coltrane as seen in "Best Lazy Day Ever" and "The Baljeatles." In Phineas and Ferb's Quantum Boogaloo, Future Stacy is mentioned by Future Candace as being the president of Uruguay.

(Olivia Olson)is Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Charlene Doofenshmirtz's 16 year old teenage daughter. Before the episode "Dude, We're Getting The Band Back Together," she was 15 years old, the same age as Candace. She is very sarcastic, mild-mannered, cynical, and dresses goth. Her parents are divorced. Vanessa is aware that Doofenshmirtz is an evil scientist and knows about her father's enemy, Perry The Platypus. Her character's relationship to Dr. Doofenshmirtz is like that of Candace's relationship to Phineas and Ferb as they both want to "bust" their brothers/father. However she does seem to love him deep down. Vanessa is shown not to care for Perry's presence in any way. By coincidence, Candace often crashes, and lands into, yells at, or even travels next to Vanessa, but they have only met twice. Vanessa also seems to have a very good singing voice. She is often exasperated by her father whenever he tried to establish a "father-daughter" bond between them. Vanessa has a close friend named Lacey (coincidentally rhyming with Stacy, Candace's best friend). She has a crush on a boy named Johnny. In the episode "Dude, We're Getting The Band Back Together" Vanessa thanks Perry the Platypus for fixing her 16th birthday by having Doofensmirtz shoot all the decorations with a ray gun. Ferb appears to have a crush on Vanessa, as revealed in the episode "I Scream, You Scream," "Chronicles of Meap," and "Vanessassary Roughness." She is a very flexible and athletic which is seen in "Vanessassary Roughness", being able to leap far lengths and doing splits with no trouble. Also in the same episode she realizes that Ferb has a crush on her and for helping her during the episode she pays him with a kiss.

Major Monogram

(Tyler Alexander Mann), whose name "isn't very cool", is Major Monogram's intern. Carl is usually unseen in person in most episodes. He is a bit careless, wears glasses, and sometimes forgets to focus the camera correctly. In one episode in particular, Carl forgot to give Monogram close up with the camera, revealing that Major Monogram wasn't wearing any pants. Carl seems to know more than Major Monogram when it comes to the agency. He also has his own theme song, as shown in "Swiss Family Phineas". Doofenshmirtz has given him the nickname Dr.Coconut because he is seen dancing in a hula outfit with doctor equipment while dancing to a song.

Minor characters

  • Vivian Garcia-Shapiro(Maria Canals Barrera) or simply "Viv", is Isabella's mother, and lives across the street from Phineas and Ferb. She plays contra-bass in a jazz band with Linda Flynn. She is known to talk very fast and often makes useless comments such as "Oh look, Candace, look how tall you've gotten" when they had only seen each other in less than a week, and again only a few minutes later.
  • Django Brown (Alec Holden) is Phineas and Ferb's Australian American friend. He can surf, as seen in "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror!".He playing the electric violin at the "Summer Rocks" concert. Django is the son of the artist Beppo Brown, who is famous for his work in making giant creations, from refrigerators to dental floss.can be seen again in "Jerk De Soleil", attempting to put his foot behind his head as part of a circus act. In "The Baljeetles" he is shown playing the electric viola.
  • Coltrane (Corbin Bleu) is a friend of Jeremy Johnson and the guitarist in his band, Jeremy and the Incidentals. He has a crush on Stacy and he's an instructor at Baljeet's summer rock camp. He was later seen watching Jeremy's TV commercial with him; he then changed the channel to see Candace on Phineas and Ferb's quiz show. It is also seen that in "The Best Lazy Day Ever" he and Stacy are together.
  • Jenny Brown (Alyson Stoner) is Candace's second best friend. She wears a peace symbol necklace and she says she hopes for world peace. Jenny has only been shown in five episodes: "Lawn Gnome Beach Party of Terror!", "Unfair Science Fair Redux (Another Story)", "Attack of The Living Gelatin" "Dude, We're Getting the Band Back Together!" and "Thaddeus and Thor".
  • Charlene Doofenshmirtz (Allison Janney) is the former wife of Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz and shares custody of their daughter, Vanessa. She didn't divorce Heinz because he was evil; they just wanted different things. She is often called by Vanessa who tries to "bust" her father but to no avail. Charlene and Linda Fletcher-Flynn are often paired up in a cooking class owned by Chef Pierre and in "I Scream, You Scream" were distracted by both Candace and Vanessa at the same time. In one episode, Linda claimed that Charlene was picking her up for cooking classes. She still goes to Doofenshmirtz family reunions claiming that she "kept the name".
  • Suzy Johnson(Kari Wahlgren), known as Little Suzy Johnson, is the little sister of Jeremy. She has a high-pitched squeaky voice and appears very cute and innocent. However, she is actually very spoiled and manipulative: she always has to get her own way and will do anything to keep Candace away from her brother. Due to comments made by Buford to Phineas and Isabella in the episode "One Good Scare Ought to Do It", it can be assumed that he is terrorized by her along with Candace.
  • Grandpa Clyde Flynn and Grandma Betty Joe Flynn (Barry Bostwick and Caroline Rhea) are Phineas and Candace Flynn's maternal grandparents and Ferb Fletcher's step-grandparents and they invite them, along with the neighborhood kids, to a lake house every summer which Phineas calls Camp P&F. Though they are old, they often participate in their capers. Betty Jo has an identical twin sister, called Lorraine, who lives in a closet and only comes out once a year when the two want to prank someone. Grandpa Clyde, like Phineas and Ferb, has a great sense of mechanics as seen in the "Crack That Whip!" Also in the episode, "Crack That Whip!" Betty Jo is shown to have a fierce rivalry with Edna Hildagard, Jeremy and Suzy's grandma ever since Betty Jo faced Hildagard in the no-rules Tri-State Skate Championship, where Hildagard punched Betty Jo and won the championship. Betty Jo accused Hildagard of cheating and Hildagard accused Betty Jo of being a sore loser.
  • Grandma Winifred Fletcher and Grandpa Reginald Fletcher (Jane Carr and Malcolm McDowell) are Ferb's grandparents and Lawrence Fletcher's parents that live in England. Known alternatively as the "Flying Fishmonger", Grandpa Reginald used to be a daredevil 40 years ago, driving a fish-shaped motorcycle called "The Holy Mackerel" and having an "anthem" so dreary that automatically made it rain. This caused the postponing of several attempts to jump Mc Gregor's Gorge but once Phineas and Ferb upped the tempo, Grandpa Reginald finally was able to jump the Mc Gregor's Gulch made in the back yard.
  • Pinky (Frank Welker) is Isabella's pet chihuahua. Much like Perry the Platypus, Pinky also lives a double-life as a secret agent for the O.W.C.A. under the codename of "Agent P", in a division ran by a commander named Wanda. Pinky's nemesis is Professor Poofenplotz. Although she does not like dog food, Pinky will eat just about anything—especially her favorite; grilled cheese sandwiches, and even inanimate objects (having once swallowed Isabella's Fireside Girl sash).
  • Norm the Giant Robot Man (John Viener) was created by Dr. Doofenshmirtz to destroy Perry the Platypus. Introduced in "Greece Lightning", he is a giant robotic mild-mannered businessman, who often says "The enemy of Platypus is man". Norm has had repeated appearances in other episodes like, "Traffic Cam-Caper" and "Hail Doofania!". In the former Perry borrows Norm as a ride to steal the traffic cam disk, for it has evidence that Perry is a Secret Agent. In the latter Norm and Dr. Doofenshmirtz build a new country called "Doofania", only for it to sink. Ironically, this happened because Phineas and Ferb's work, the Rainbowinator, inadvertently destroyed it, rather than the other way around. Dr. Doofenshmirtz and Norm later played a game of Hide-and-go-Seek together, but Norm didn't quite get it. In the same episode he also makes references to Phineas' and Isabella's catch phrases. He was once on the O.W.C.A but was fired because he was not an animal.
  • Roger Doofenshmirtz (John O'Hurley) is Dr. Heinz Doofenshmirtz's younger brother. Heinz very often states angrily that Roger is their mother's favorite son. He is a very good kickball player. In "A Tree to Get Ready" he states that he is "the most handsome and charming man in the Tri-State area" and in "Hail Doofania" he was elected mayor of Danville.

Other Minor characters

  • Love Händel: A rock band idolized by many in the Danville Tri-State Area, first seen the episode "Dude, We're Gettin' the Band Back Together!". Lawrence Fletcher and Linda Flynn shared their first kiss at the Love Händel Farewell Concert. Shortly afterward, plagued by infighting caused by the pressures of a dwindling fanbase, Love Händel split up. Lead Singer Danny (Jaret Reddick) became the owner of Danny's Music Shop. Bass Player Bobbi Fabulous (Carlos Alazraqui) became the owner of Bobbi's Fashion Salon and Linda's hairdresser. Sherman "Swampy" (Steve Zahn) ended up working at the Danville Public Library. Eventually all three members are convinced to reunite for a concert in the Flynn/Fletcher's front yard. They also appeared in "Thaddeus & Thor", as a part of one of Dr. Doofensmirtz's backstories.
  • Mrs. Johnson Jeremy and Suzy's mother. She is in the Free-Form Jazz Band alongside Mrs. Flynn and Mrs. Garcia-Shapiro. She has appeared several times (mostly in background shots) though she has never spoken.
  • Mrs. Doofenshmirtz (Cloris Leachman) is the mother of Heinz and Roger. She prefers Roger to Heinz and is still alive. She likes to watch her children play kickball and along with her husband is the cause of much of Heinz's misery and mental anguish. She refers to Roger being her favorite child.
  • A giant baby head has appeared in several episodes as a running gag. In an interview, Dan Povenmire stated that the head had originated from a storyboard panel that writer Mike Diederich had drawn which director Rob Hughes found hilarious enough to create an entire bit around.[1]
  • Mindy is a teenager who has a crush on Jeremy. She wears a blue and green shirt and has blonde hair. Her first appearance was when she asked Jeremy to sit by her in "Jerk De Soleil". Later in that episode, you can see her cheering in the crowd. She appeared again in "Hail Doofania" when she took a picture on her phone when she thought Candace was goth and Candace was just wearing Vanessa's clothes when they got mixed up at the dry cleaners. It is shown that Mindy probably has grudge against Candace too. She hasn't appeared in Season 2 yet.
