The Singles Collection is the second greatest hits compilation from American pop singer Britney Spears. The album will be released on November 24, 2009 in two different editions, a standard version and a 30-disc deluxe box set.[1][2][3][4][5][6]
Production
In July 2009, Spears confirmed through her Twitter that she had begun recording new material, stating that she was going into the studio with Swedish songwriter and producer Max Martin, who produced the album's lead single "3".[7]
Editions
Standard
The one-disc standard edition contains 17 Spears hits along with the new song "3"; the Japanese edition contains an additional new song, a cover of "It's All in the Game".

The Ultimate Fan Box Set includes
- 29 of Spears' singles, each single will be on its own disc and packaged in its own slip sleeve case with original artwork, and will include a remix or a B-side.

- "3": It was confirmed to be the lead single of the compilation on September 23, 2009 along with the announcement of The Singles Collection. It had its radio premiere on September 29, 2009 and received positive reviews.
