St. Joseph's College of Balanga (SJCB) is a Catholic private university located in Balanga City, Philippines. It is managed by the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception.[2] The college is the third branch of the St. Joseph's College (the other two are from Quezon City and Mactan, in Cebu). It caters to students from Balanga City and its neighboring towns.
St. Joseph's College was founded by then Most Reverend Bishop Socrates Villegas (now the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan) in 2006, when he was the newly-installed bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Balanga. It is the first Catholic school in Balanga.[1]
