Returning shows

  • On February 10, 2009, after only 4 episodes aired, it was announced that United States of Tara has been renewed for a second season by Showtime, which will consist of 12 episodes and air in early 2010.
  • On April 13, 2009, it was announced that Showtime has picked up The Tudors for a fourth season, which will air in 2010. It will be the final season of the series.
  • Dexter on Showtime will also return for its fourth season in 2010. It has already been renewed for a fifth season, (which will air in 2011), as well.
