Wang Hai (Jan.19, 1926-) is a Chinese ace pilot during the Korean War (1950-1953) . During the war, he shot down or damaged 9 American aircrafts, with his own air group scoring 29. After the war, he was promoted to command an air division, and later the Commander-in-chief and vice Party Secertary of the Guangzhou Military Region Air Force. He retired in 1992, and was given the rank of Air Marshal in August, 1998.
