Returning shows
On February 10, 2009, after only 4 episodes aired, it was announced that United States of Tara has been renewed for a second season by Showtime , which will consist of 12 episodes and air in early 2010.
On April 13, 2009, it was announced that Showtime has picked up The Tudors for a fourth season, which will air in 2010. It will be the final season of the series.
Dexter on Showtime will also return for its fourth season in 2010. It has already been renewed for a fifth season, (which will air in 2011), as well.
Californication on Showtime has been renewed for a 4th season due to strong numbers for the 3rd season. [ 13]
