Interlachen High School is a public high school located in Interlachen, Florida, operated by the Putnam County School Board. The current principal is Phyllis Criswell.

Academics
Interlachen High School offers standard and Honors courses in the core curriculum (language arts, mathematics, social studies, science). An array of vocational programs are offered, as well, including agriscience, business, computer systems technology, criminal justice, health science, and television production.
Interlachen High School has many after-school and extra-curricular programs. IHS holds branches of several nationally recognized clubs, such as National Honor Society, Spanish National Honor Society, Future Business Leaders of America, Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America, and Future Farmers of America. Other clubs include drama, yearbook, literacy circle, genealogy, and Fellowship of Christian Students.
National recognition
In late 2008, the US News and World Report gave Interlachen High School national recognition when the school was listed as Bronze-level in the "Best High Schools" database [1]. The Bronze level is described as "either do not offer AP or IB or do not achieve a college readiness index of at least 20 but successfully meet the other two key performance indicator criteria". Crescent City Junior/Senior High School was also given this honor.
Band
Interlachen High School's band actively competes in competitions and festivals. From 1993-2005, the band held a "Superior" rating streak from the by the Florida Music Educators Association. In the summer of 2007, the band traveled to London, England, to perform in front of Westminster Abbey. The color guard is among the few to have performed at Westminster Abbey.
