Downingtown High School is a secondary school located in Downingtown, Pennsylvania. The school is split into two distinct campuses, Downingtown High School East Campus and Downingtown High School West Campus.

The mascot for Downingtown East is the cougar, for Downingtown West, the whippet. Downingtown East's school colors are blue and gold, while Downingtown West's school colors are gold and blue, a similarity that recalls that the two campuses were once one school.

The Downingtown Area High School Alumni Association, which was founded on April 29, 1884, claims to be the "oldest, continuously active high school alumni association in the United States". [1]
