Wansdyke (UK Parliament constituency)
Template:UK constituency infobox Wansdyke is a constituency represented in the House of Commons of the Parliament of the United Kingdom. It elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first past the post system of election.
Boundaries
The constituency covers the part of Bath and North East Somerset that is not in the Bath constituency. It also contains four wards or parts of wards from South Gloucestershire Council. It is named after the former Wansdyke district.
The constituency includes North East Somerset, which takes in the whole of the picturesque Chew Valley to the south of Bristol, Keynsham and Saltford in the north, Midsomer Norton and Radstock in the south, and numerous small villages to the south of Bath. The seat also covers parts of South Gloucestershire to the east of Bristol, including Bitton, Longwell Green and Oldland Common.
At the next general election 2009/2010 much of this constituency will change to North East Somerset (UK Parliament constituency).[1]
