The San Lorenzo Valley, often referred to locally as "SLV," is in the Santa Cruz Mountains in Santa Cruz County, California. It was once a center of the logging industry of California and is still home to millions of Sequoia Sempervirens, or redwood trees. The villages of Ben Lomond, Felton, Brookdale and Boulder Creek are all along the very winding, two-lane road that runs through it, Highway 9. The San Lorenzo River also runs through the valley on its way to the city of Santa Cruz, where it then flows into the Monterey Bay and the Pacific Ocean.

Much of the river valley is rural and wooded. At its northern end, it abuts Big Basin Redwoods State Park; toward the southern end is Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park [1].

It is now known as the hicktown of the entire bay area and is proud of it. Don't mess with someone from the valley because they have connections with all types of different crazy meth head people who will probably kill you. Basically, SLV is the best valley in the United States and the town hero is Taylor Swift.
