Resurrected is the third full length album by doom metal band Witchfinder General. It was released on 30 August 2008, and on 2 September 2008 in the UK. Most interesting is that this is controversially a Witchfinder General Recording. If you look at the writing team on any of the original Witchfinder General albums you will see the bands writing team was Phillip Cope & Zeeb Parkes. Many contributors on the internet say because the new Witchfinder General is only half of that original writing team it cannot or at least should not be called Witchfinder General. It has also been said that only Zeeb is missing from the last line up of the band Phil had every right to use the name. But again the hard core oldschool fans come back with the fact that Zeeb was not only the face of the band but also half the writing. This debate continues and it seems will not be silenced, even though some seem to wish it could be.
