Dave Peacock (musician)

David Victor 'Dave' Peacock (born 24 May 1945 in Ponders End, Enfield, Middlesex, England), is an English bass guitar player. He is best known as having been one half of the English musical duo, Chas & Dave from 1974 to 2009.

Earlier in his career, Peacock played guitar as part of The Rebel Rousers, the back up band for Cliff Bennett and the Rebel Rousers. In 2009, following the death of his wife, Peacock announced his retirement from performing with Chas & Dave[1].
