F is the upcoming fourth film by Sherwood Pictures, who previously made Flywheel, Facing the Giants and Fireproof.
Announcement
The title and plot of F were announced on November 15, 2009. Sherwood Pictures/Provident Films decided, "After much prayer, creative brainstorming, more prayer, wise counsel, and still more prayer, Sherwood Pictures is ready to move ahead with their fourth motion picture."[1] Before the announcement, the filmmakers launched TheNextSherwoodMovie.com, which contained video clues and pits of information about F, although nothing was officially known about it before the announcement. No major clues were released.[2]
The announcement was made at Sherwood Baptist Church on November 15. More than 60 media outlets will be there when the Kendrick brothers make the announcement. Alex Kendrick said, "Lord willing we will shoot next year. But again a lot has to fall into place. We're not saying anything is in stone. We're still in stages of prayer."[3]
