Karl Burman

Karl Burman sen. (may 17, 1882 Sumy, Ukraine - may 10, 1965 in Tallinn, Estonia) was an Estonian architect and painter.

In 1900 he attended the Stroganovi Art School in Moscow, and then between 1901 - 1902 he attended the Stieglitzi Art School in St. Petersburg. Then he studied architecture at the St. Petersburg Academy of Arts from 1902 - 1909.

Romantik Burman was an exhibition celebrating his work at the Museum of Estonian Architecture from 19 June - 7 September 2003[1]
