Any thoughts on your namesake? --MacRusgail (talk) 16:14, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

It makes me very sad to think that people would kill an entire species. I don't want anyone to forget that these beautiful animals once existed but are gone forever. Warrah (talk) 16:52, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Well spotted. In case the reviewing admin might not see how blatant a hoax, I have added to the talk page a note comparing her alleged 500 published papers with the fact that Google Scholar knows nothing of her. What drew it to your attention? It's alarming how long hoaxes can linger, often being tidied up so that they look more plausible by well-intentioned editors who don't stop to think, wait a minute, can this really be true? I have an interest in marine biology. Warrah (talk) 23:30, 2 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

"Thankyou for participating!"

Hello Warrah. Thankyou for participating in my recent RfA. I appreciate it. As you know, it failed (probably due to my own interference), but...there's always next year, Lord Spongefrog, (I am the Czar of all Russias!) 19:09, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Did I forget to thank you? ..

Thank you for participating in my RfA, which passed nearly unanimously with 174 in support, 2 in opposition and 1 neutral votes. Special thanks goes to RegentsPark, Samir and John Carter for their kind nomination and support. I am truly honored by the trust and confidence that the community has placed in me. I thank you for your kind inputs and I will be sincerely looking at the reasons that people opposed me so I can improve in those areas ( including my english ;) ). If you ever need anything please feel free to ask me and I would be happy to help you :). Have a great day ! -- Tinu Cherian - 04:29, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your recent changes!

Thanks for your recent edits!! - You helped the world today in some way... maybe a little bit, but wrong is doing nothing at all. 189.217.171.135 (talk) 01:50, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

fiction

Fiction as we use it includes all works of the imagination with some sort of plot and characters, such as drama, films, comics, and even games. Look at any related list whatever, or WP:FICT. It means more than novels. Films are even formally divided into fiction- and non-fiction films. DGG ( talk ) 03:55, 3 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I declined this prod since this is a real and important topic. I've redirected this for now, but books have been written about the topic eg link. Tim Vickers (talk) 03:48, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, that was clever of you. Nice work. Warrah (talk) 03:51, 12 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Illness among Jews - your comment/vote

You wrote "The primary source material is more than a century old and ignores the Sephardic Jewish population completely. Unless this can be updated with 21st century medical information and a more comprehensive understanding of its subject matter, this article has to be taken offline."

There's nothing stopping you or anyone else from adding 21st century material, or stuff about Sephardic Jews.

Articles never start out as featured articles. So why did you vote to delete?

The speedy request on Josh Greaves wasn't declined by an admin, it was deleted when an IP user blanked the page. I'm putting it back up for A7. --SquidSK (1MClog) 19:14, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. I wasn't in the mood to play games with the guys who were goofing around with the article, which is why I brought it to AfD. Warrah (talk) 19:23, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Speedied. I guess I was in the mood.  ;) --SquidSK (1MClog) 20:48, 13 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SP Historical Society

I had created the page for a class, and was going back to my original so it could be viewed by my professor in the format that I had created. Since it kept changing I had to keep changing it back so she could see it. Assignment over. Bellemeow (talk) 03:17, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
