This page is premature. There has been no vote to spill the leadership positions of the party. All indications are that such a vote will fail. Only after the positions are spilled and thus become vacant, will there be a leadership election. See. e.g. http://www.theaustralian.com.au/politics/kevin-andrews-confirms-bid-for-liberal-leadership-against-malcolm-turnbull/story-e6frgczf-1225803663592 58.110.144.6 (talk) 01:43, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The spill motion has failed. There is no leadership election. This page is redundant. 58.110.144.6 (talk) 02:27, 25 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Not anymore it aint. Abbott will be Liberal leader in 24 hours, even Laurie Oakes said as much. 124.184.96.26 (talk) 07:08, 26 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
