Asterion. I think that on this issue, "Gibraltarian" is right. There is an excessive focus on the isse that the people of Algeciras were expelled from Gibraltar. This is true and should be mentioned, but not with the excruciating detail which is clearly a form of propaganda relating to the Gibraltar dispute.--Burgas00 14:59, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Gibraltarian is a permanently blocked user by decision of wikipedia arbitration committee. In that sense, he has lost any right to edit. He has been engaged on long term vandalism of several articles, some not even related to Gibraltar at all (i.e. Falkland Islands). In all honesty, some of the paragraphs that were added by another user regarding the Exodus are not particularly relevant. They seem to have been taken off San Roque, Cádiz, where they truly belong (i.e. San Roque was founded by Gibraltar original Andalusian population). You may be interested to know that Gibraltarian has also been targeting this page too. Therefore, reverting any of his edits is the right thing to do. Regards, E Asterion u talking to me? 20:13, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Asterion, the only "right" thing to do is keep articles accurate and NPOV as per WP requirements. There was no "decision" merely a capitulation to the whims of a clearly racist user. I have appealed the decision, but so far it has been ignored. You are well aware that my "ban" was totally unjustified. Yanito
Until you successfully appeal your ban, you'll continue getting reverted. Blaming your own actions on other users is childish - take some responsibility. — ceejayoz talk 15:56, 2 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
I WILL HOLD MY BREATH TILL THE BAN IS REVERTED. IF I EXPIRE I SHALL GO ON A HUNGERSTRIK AND BLAME EVERYONE FOR IT....except myself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.134.28.194 (talk) 08:56, 1 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Cjayoz said it. One thin is to appeal. Successfully appeal is something...that wil not happen.

Image at the bottom

That could use a serious cropping and redistributing at the bottom of the bage due to the large amount of white space it generates being such a tall image. --ZsinjTalk 17:03, 27 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

History?

There was nothing that happened in Algericas between 1906 and 1969. There may have been alegations that a German Fighterpilot bombed Algericas, mistaking it for Gibraltar. Anyhoo, did nothing really happen? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.164.223.52 (talk) 23:54, 29 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
