The Serie C 1947-48 was the eleventh tournament of this Italian Association Football competition. In order to reduce the number of teams in Serie B and Serie C, there were no promotions and most of the teams were relegated to the newly created Promozione (that later changed name to IV Serie and Serie D), while the last three teams of every girone (plus some others) were relegated to Prima Divisione.
