Necco
NECCO is an acronym for the New England Candy Company. The company was founded as Chase and Company in 1847 by brothers Oliver R. and Silas Edwin Chase. It is the oldest multi-line candy company in the United States.
NECCO produces NECCO Wafers, Sweethearts Conversation Hearts, Mary Jane peanut butter kisses, Clark candy bars, Sky Bar candy bars, Mighty Malts, and Candy House Candy Buttons. The Haviland division of NECCO produces many popular candies such as Thin Mints, Bridge Mix, and others.
NECCO naw has three manufacturing facilities and employs aproximately 1,200 people. Their headquarters is in Revere, Massachusetts. Their other two factories are in Pewaukee, Wisconsin, and Thibodaux, Louisiana. Annual sales of NECCO's candies garner nearly $100 million.
