In most meanings chain is a sequence of connected links of some kind.

Chain may refer to:

  • A physical, literal chain
  • Chain (length), unit of length
  • Chain Home and Chain Home Low, early British RDF (US radar) systems of the WWII era
  • Gunter's chain, a unit of measurement
  • Chain tool, small mechanical device used to "break" a bicycle chain in such a way that it could be mended with the same tool
  • Mail (armour) (or "chainmail"), a type of armor made of interlocking chain links
