CAC GrantDuff (1870-1944) was ME GrantDuff's eldest daughter - She wrote two books, one of which was a bestseller of its time , "A victorian childhood" - this can be found on the web - she also wrote poems - one of her books of poems is called 'Fugitive Verse' - aside from that she was painted by John Singer Sargent and is known as Mrs Jackson in the painting. she was also a noted nazi sympathiser and is recorded as having let Oswald Mosley use her house as the official headquarters of the British National Party.

She was also a Society Hostess and a great friend of Lady Gregory, Mrs Humphrey Ward, Lady Eden and countless other society ladies of the time.

this is why i don't think it should be deleted - I just haven't got round to doing her bio! Pg
