below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. Shell babelfish 09:58, 10 December 2009 (UTC)Alice Mudgarden (block log • active blocks • global blocks • contribs • deleted contribs • filter log • creation log • change block settings • unblock • checkuser (log))
Request reason:
Although what I said about 2007 is true, and I stand by my view that these users have very clearly made an error and are purely seeking to harass me as they clearly cannot fathom the possibility that they have made an error, those "threats" were just heat of the moment ramblings; hot air expelling.
The 2007 incident was very ugly, and distressing, and there's no way I'd go through all of that again just to get a fucking apology.
But I am still upset at these ridiculous, malicious and clearly fallacious accusations those users have made.
Decline reason:
To negate the Wikipedia:No legal threats block you have to clearly and unambiguously disavow the threat that was made, not just say "it was just heat of the moment; hot air expelling". I believe you're attempting to do so in good faith, but it needs to be more clear than that per our policy. As soon as you do so this should be able to be lifted. Thank you. If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.
As an aside - if you do something like this again, your Wikipedia career will not be long and fruitful. I came back logged in as soon as I realized the first edit had happened on a window that ended up logged out somehow, and edit conflicted with you already reverting it with a profane personal attack. That is not ok. Don't do it again. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 11:28, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- Oh please. Be an adult, sir. The edit summary was profane, but it was very obviously not a personal attack. If profanity offends you, sorry but Wikipedia is not censored.
- The above is completely unambiguous. Common sense dictates that when someone says "there's no way I'd go through all of that again", they fucking mean it.
- If you insist on it though, I am definitely not going to call my solicitor, call the police, and hire a team to track down the real life identities of a bunch of kids harassing me over the internet. Alice Mudgarden (talk) 11:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
- On a somewhat related note - "your Wikipedia career will not be long and fruitful" - I don't actually want a Wikipedia "career". I haven't edited in months, and prior to the short burst of editing from a few months ago, I hadn't edited in years.
- I have actively tried to invoke my right to vanish (and before you ask, yes this is because of the '07 incident). I have contacted dozens of administrators since late '07 with requests to delete my edits, my account, my history on WP, and my userpage/talk page, and most important of all my real name (which can still be found in multiple places on Wikipedia).
- Most of the admins told me it's not possible, or not a "good idea" to remove my personal information and history from WP, but I know that there is WP:OVERSIGHT which can effectively remove things permanently from WP.
- This is why the falsified claims of "multiple accounts" are so ridiculous. I don't want to be a part of this project, and I want my real name and account history erased.
- Actually, if you are able to assist me with my right to vanish, please do so, as I am still receiving death threats and so on, from people involved in the 2007 incident. I would greatly appreciate any help you can give me with this. Thanks. Alice Mudgarden (talk) 11:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

Please point out this paragraph that clearly states why you believe you should be unblocked. The reason given in your previous request is not sufficient, and no reason is given in the intervening paragraphs. Any unblock reasons need to be given in the unblock template. I am declining your request one more time. You may file a new unblock request when you clearly give a reason why you believe you should be unblocked, but if you remove the decline again you will be prohibited from editing your talk page and the matter will be closed completely. Request reason:
If you're really so anal that you absolutely need me to put the clear and unambiguous retraction of "legal threats" in this box, then I will copy/paste it for you. I am definitely not going to call my solicitor, call the police, and hire a team to track down the real life identities of a bunch of kids harassing me over the internet. Alice Mudgarden (talk) 11:52, 10 December 2009 (UTC)
Decline reason:
I see no reason in your request that means you see why what you said was wrong, and you seem to only be stating such a thing in the hope of getting yourself unblocked. You show no evidence that you would continue to be a productive member of the community should an unblock be granted based on the rest of the comments on this talk page. Saying you will not call the police on anyone doesn't show that you won't make such threats in the future (threats and action being two completely different things.) The threat you made was a clear threat, and your comments here have not undone it, it is clear it was made, and you show no remorse for it and are unapologetic for it. And when you then insult administrators in your unblock request I see no reason to grant your unblock request at this time. Canterbury Tail talk 14:54, 10 December 2009 (UTC)

While you're at it, help me out with this

Request reason:
This is me retracting legal threats made to those who have committed crimes against me. This is not a hard concept to understand at all.
And, no this is not just an attempt at getting unblocked for the sake of being unblocked.
This is me, a person who does not want to be a contributor here (and hasn't wanted to be one sine early 2008) attempting to remove a bad faith block so I can continue with exercising my right to vanish by getting my talk page, related pages, and account history deleted. Both my talk page and my account history have access to information that identifies me in real life, and I still receive threats of violence based on this.
Shit, you could even keep this account indef blocked if you really want, but if you could delete my talk page and account history so as to remove sensitive personal information, that would be great.Notes:
- In some cases, you may not in fact be blocked, or your block has already expired. Please check the list of active blocks. If no block is listed, then you have been autoblocked by the automated anti-vandalism systems. Please remove this request and follow these instructions instead for quick attention by an administrator.
- Please read our guide to appealing blocks to make sure that your unblock request will help your case. You may change your request at any time.
If you ask the blocking administrator to comment on this request, replace this template with the following, replacing "blocking administrator" with the name of the blocking admin:
{{Unblock on hold |1=blocking administrator |2='''I am definitely not going to call my solicitor, call the police, and hire a team to track down the real life identities of a bunch of kids harassing me over the internet'''. If you decline the unblock request, replace this template with the following code, substituting {{subst:Decline reason here}}
with a specific rationale. Leaving the decline reason unchanged will result in display of a default reason, explaining why the request was declined.
