Maheshpur (Template:Lang-bn) is an Upazila of Jhenaidah District in the Division of Khulna, Bangladesh.

Geography

Maheshpur is located at 23°21′00″N 88°54′45″E / 23.3500°N 88.9125°E / 23.3500; 88.9125 . It has 41995 units of house hold and total area 416.96 km². The Cuadanga District to the north, Magura District to the east, the Jessor District to the south and the state of West Bengal (in India) to the west. Demographics

As of the 1991 Bangladesh census, Maheshpur has a population of 246350. Males constitute are 51.22% of the population, and females 48.78%. This Upazila's eighteen up population is 118674.
